ABOUT US
We prioritize giving our students well-rounded, customized curriculum to support their journey with music. Our team is composed of teachers who students look forward to learning with. We are professionals who inspire progress and commitment while making lessons fun.

RECITALS
twice a year
Biannual recitals are hosted to showcase the skills that the students have been working hard on. These recitals are a requirement to participate in. One recital is held during the spring, and another is a holiday recital. Performing in front of a crowd is a valuable skill to have, as it builds confidence and helps the students overcome stage fright. Working toward this tangible goal provides an opportunity to feel successful.
COMPETITIONS
twice a year
An exciting part of Prism Music Education's program are the annual competitions. Participating is optional, but highly encouraged! There are three different competitions: individuals, partners, and big groups. Everyone has six weeks to earn as many points as they can through various ways, such as finishing a piece, accurately completing theory pages, or a music related game. The top scoring students get to pick an experience to celebrate their win. Previous celebrations have been a game night, arcade and mini golf, pool party, and an escape room.

PROGRESS REPORTS
twice a year
At Prism Music Education, we provide progress reports for students twice a year to ensure that both students and their families are actively involved in the learning process. These reports offer a clear snapshot of the student’s achievements, areas for improvement, and overall growth. By offering feedback twice annually, we give ample time for reflection, goal setting, and personalized adjustments to the curriculum, fostering continued progress. This approach helps maintain motivation, ensures transparent communication, and allows students to track their development in a structured, meaningful way.
MEET THE
FOUNDER
Showing interest in music from a young age, she started
private piano lessons at five years old and has been
committed to growing her knowledge and love for music since
then. Music has been a passion that she plans to carry for the
rest of her life, so she strengthened her musical education by
studying classical piano performance and became certified to
work in music studios as a recording engineer. In her early
years of college, Jessica had an internship with the Grammy's
and spent a few years in the music industry which earned her
the opportunity to collaborate with professional musicians, such as Zedd, Khalid, and Jason Mraz. During the time of long nights at the studio, traveling back and fourth from the Bay Area to LA, and networking amongst her peers from the internship, she always maintained weekly lessons with a small handfull of students. Throughout the chaotic lifestyle of climbing the music industry ladder, there was something about teaching that held a strong grasp on her heart. It was easy for her to decide to put her focus into teaching full time.
